Welcome to TexasFile.com!

TexasFile LLC was formed in 2005 as a division of a large independent title insurance agency based in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Our parent company www.sanjacintotitle.com has been providing Texas land research and title insurance for over 50 years.  We have offices from South Texas to DFW.  Several of the counties available on TexasFile.com are licensed title plants used to underwrite title insurance by Fortune 500 financial institutions.  TexasFile.com provides ENTIRELY FREE SEARCH ACCESS TO THESE TITLE PLANTS.

How does TexasFile charge?

TexasFile.com is entirely free to search and we don't require a subscription or minimum monthly fees. You may click here to create a free login, which allows you unlimited access to our index data. You may save or print a document or plat for $2.00. There are no per page charges, so even a 100 page document is only $2.00. This is a great savings compared with other websites or copies at the courthouse.  We also allow you to 'preview' any document for $1.00 total, but this option does not allow you to print or save the document.

What if I can't find what I'm looking for?

We have a great customer service team ready to assist you.  Please give us a call at (214) 705-6400 or email us at info@texasfile.com.

New Search Features - Tuesday, January 22, 2008

Date Filters.  TexasFile.com now allows users to limit search results by year.  On all runsheets, users have the option to limit the records returned to a single year, or return records from an unlimited range.

More Runsheet Results.  We have also increased the number of results on our runsheets to 500!!  We always encourage users to make specific searches, but this new feature will allow you to view more runsheet results while trying to locate an instrument.

Effective Dates on Runsheets.  You'll now see that on the top of the search & runsheet results pages, every County lists the effective dates of the available image & index data AND the criteria you used to search.  This should be a helpful note on your runsheets to identify the date range, and person or properties searched.
