Searching is now faster and easier on texasfile.com!
We're continuing to improve the options for searching land records. Please review the information below that describes our recent changes. We also have some exciting new coverage coming soon. Stay tuned for our announcement on new coverage areas!
Expanded Search Results
Our searches are no longer limited to 100 results. All searches now return up to 1,000 records providing the most recently filed documents first. You have the option to scroll from page to page viewing all records. This should be very helpful in searching general names, filings for specific date ranges and large tracts or subdivisions.
Sort Search Results
You now have the option to sort your search results (up to 1,000 records) by filing date, instrument number, or instrument type. This should be helpful in locating specific documents, working on a chain of title or viewing large lists of specific instrument types filed during a date range.
Faster Search Results
Because of some technical changes we're making, you should notice an improvement in the search speed. We will continue to improve the efficiency of the research process to help your business.
Great Pricing
TexasFile.com continues to provide entirely free access to searches with no subscription required. In addition, document purchase pricing will remain $2.00 total. This pricing is a great discount compared to other websites or courthouse copies. However, to offset the significant increase in free data we’re providing on searches document previews will increase from $0.50 to $1.00 on July 1, 2009. We trust the expanded search features will more than offset any inconvenience from this change. TexasFile.com continues to provide the most competitive pricing for land records research and copies.
